Endgame Overview

Arms of God's endgame starts after defeating Divine Engine Omega, the final boss of Act 4. Completing the base campaign is really the tutorial — the real depth opens up after the credits roll. Endgame content includes New Game+, Hard Mode, Weekly Boss Rush, Challenge Runs, the Arena, and hidden post-game bosses.

New Game+ (NG+) Deep Dive

NG+ resets your story progress but carries over: all weapons, all characters, all Cathedral upgrades, all passive skill points, and your full blessing collection. Enemies gain +50% HP and +30% damage across all Acts. Bosses gain new attack patterns — roughly 2-3 new moves per boss that you haven't seen before.

What changes in NG+:

  • Elite enemies spawn 3x more frequently
  • Memory Shards drop from elite kills (rare, ~5% chance)
  • Secret rooms contain higher-rarity loot
  • A new merchant appears in Act 2 selling legendary weapon parts
  • All bosses have at least one new phase or attack pattern

Optimal NG+ strategy: Speed-clear Acts 1-2 without full-clearing (skip optional rooms), then full-clear Acts 3-4 for maximum legendary drops. The first two Acts' rewards aren't worth the time in NG+.

Weekly Boss Rush

Unlocked after first clear. You fight all 10 bosses sequentially with no breaks and no Cathedral hub visits between fights. Your build carries through the entire gauntlet — blessings, HP, and weapon merges must last all 10 fights.

Modifiers rotate weekly:

  • Week 1: Bosses have +30% attack speed
  • Week 2: No healing between boss phases
  • Week 3: Double elite spawns during boss fights
  • Week 4: Random blessing ban (3 forbidden blessings per run)

Completing all 10 bosses with any modifier awards 2 Memory Shards. Completing without dying (deathless run) awards an additional Memory Shard and a unique title.

Challenge Runs

Challenge Runs add custom rule sets to standard runs. Examples include:

  • Pacifist: Clear a level without attacking (dodge-only, let passive damage sources kill)
  • Weapon Restriction: Only use one weapon type for the entire run
  • Speed Demon: Complete Act 1 in under 8 minutes
  • Blessing Gambler: All blessing choices are random

Each Challenge has bronze/silver/gold tiers with escalating rewards. Gold-tier Challenge completions drop exclusive cosmetic items.

Hidden Post-Game Bosses

Two secret bosses exist beyond Divine Engine Omega:

Revenant of the First Age

Found in NG+ by destroying all 24 hidden statues across all 4 Acts in a single run. The Revenant is arguably the hardest boss in the game — it has 8 phases and its attacks cover 70% of the arena. Defeating it unlocks a unique weapon skin.

Fallen Creator

Accessed by completing 50 Challenge Runs at gold tier. This is a meta-secret that rewards dedicated players. The fight itself is a spectacle — full arena transformation, unique soundtrack, and dialogue that hints at the game's lore. Defeating it unlocks the alternate ending cinematic.
