Divine Weapons: Full Stats, Unlocks & Pairings
Divine Weapons Overview

Divine weapons are the highest-tier armaments in Arms of God. Each of the 60 divine weapons belongs to one of three damage types (Holy, Fire, Shock) and one of four weapon classes (Sword, Heavy, Ranged, Special). Every weapon has unique stat scaling, a special effect, and hidden bonuses that only activate under specific conditions.
This guide covers every divine weapon's base stats, unlock conditions, and which character gets the most value from each one.
Damage Type Mechanics
Holy (Yellow): +25% damage against undead and demon-type enemies. Holy weapons have the highest single-target DPS potential. They scale best with the Paladin and Seraph characters.
Fire (Orange): 3-second burn for 10% of initial hit damage per tick. Fire weapons excel at sustained AOE damage. They scale best with Warmonger and Harbinger.
Shock (Blue): 15% chance to chain to a nearby enemy for 50% damage. Shock weapons are the best mob-clearing tools. They scale best with Assassin and Sniper.
Hidden mechanic — damage-type resonance: Using two weapons of the same damage type grants a hidden 10% bonus to both. Using three different types spreads your damage too thin — you lose the resonance bonus and don't specialize in any damage type's strength.

|------|------|------|------|
| Paladin | Sword + Shield | Godslayer's Blade + Guardian's Shield | Block encourages close range; holy damage matches his passive |

| Assassin | Ranged (Shock) | Twin Fangs + Shadow Step Dagger | Speed + crit synergize with perfect dodge mechanic |
| Seraph | Heavy (Holy) | Seraph's Judgment + Frost Needles | Beam weapon + slow = DPS uptime maximization |
| Harbinger | Special | Void Reaper + Phoenix Wing | Life steal + revive works with his low-HP-high-damage passive |
| Sniper | Ranged (Any) | Radiant Bow + Stormcaller's Spear | Piercing + chain lightning gives the best room clear |
Forgotten Weapons Worth Revisiting
A few divine weapons that most players overlook but are actually strong in the right build:
Crescent Moon (Shock/Heavy): Most players skip this because its base damage (105) is lower than Titan's Fist (120) or Seraph's Judgment (130). But its pull effect groups enemies for AOE, making it the best heavy weapon for co-op play where your teammate is running AOE blessings.
Frost Needles (Holy/Ranged): The slow effect (30% for 2 seconds) doesn't look impressive on paper. Against the Act 4 final boss, where movement speed is survival, this slow increases your dodge window by roughly 0.3 seconds per attack — enough to avoid the phase 2 lightning cascade.
Void Cannon (Shock/Heavy): The vacuum pull on crit requires roughly 30% crit rate to be reliable. With the Assassin's base 15% crit and two crit blessings, this becomes the best control weapon in the game. Every shot groups enemies into a single point for AOE clearing.
Hidden Stats You Should Know
Every divine weapon has a hidden 'weight' stat (1-10) that affects knockback resistance while attacking. Heavier weapons (weight 7+) prevent stagger from minor enemy attacks during swing animation. This is undocumented:
- Swords: weight 3-5 (can be interrupted by medium enemies)
- Heavy weapons: weight 7-10 (cannot be interrupted by any non-boss enemy)
- Ranged: weight 1-3 (interrupted by any hit)
- Special: weight 4-7 (varies by weapon)
Also undocumented: weapons of the same damage type dropped in the same act have a 60% chance to roll complementary secondary stats. If you find two Holy weapons in Act 2, they're more likely to have secondary stats that work together (e.g., both rolling holy damage bonus rather than one rolling fire resistance). This isn't in any official documentation but has been confirmed through 200+ drop observations in the community Discord.
