Arms of God Void Reaper Guide — Dark Scythe Build, Lifesteal & How to Craft Tier 3
Void Reaper Overview

The Void Reaper is a Tier 3 Dark scythe that heals you for 12% of damage dealt and instantly executes enemies below 15% HP. It's the only weapon in the game that provides significant built-in sustain, making it the cornerstone of any self-healing build.
How the Void Reaper Works
Each swing heals you for 12% of the damage dealt (before enemy resistances). The execute threshold is 15% — when an enemy drops below 15% HP, the next hit kills instantly regardless of damage. The execute works on elites and mini-bosses but NOT on major bosses.
Key stats at Tier 3:
- Base damage per swing: 240
- Lifesteal: 12% of damage dealt
- Execute threshold: 15% HP
- Attack speed: 1 swing per 1.1 seconds
- Range: Extended (scythe has longer reach than swords/axes)
Optimal Blessing Synergies
S-Tier
1. Vampiric Thirst: Lifesteal +8% (total 20%). One in five HP returned per hit.
2. Death's Door: Execute threshold raised to 25%. Elites die at quarter HP.
3. Soul Harvest: Kills grant a stacking 3% damage buff (max 10 stacks). Synergizes perfectly with execute.
A-Tier
4. Dark Affinity: +25% Dark damage. Direct multiplier on both damage and healing.
5. Reaper's Reach: Swing arc +40%. The scythe hits almost everything in front of you.
6. Undying: When you would take fatal damage, consume all Soul Harvest stacks to survive at 1 HP. One-time per encounter.
Pros and Cons
Strengths:
- Built-in healing reduces reliance on health potions and support characters
- Execute bypasses defensive mechanics — no damage calculation needed
- Extended range keeps you safer than other melee weapons
- Soul Harvest stacking rewards aggressive play
Weaknesses:
- Execute doesn't work on major bosses — loses its signature mechanic
- Heal scales with damage dealt — low damage = low healing
- Light-resistant enemies in Act 3 take reduced dark damage
- Slow attack speed (1.1s) makes stacking difficult against fast enemies
Best Weapon Pairings
1. Void Reaper + Laser Core: Reaper handles sustain and execute, Laser Core provides ranged boss DPS.
2. Void Reaper + Burning Pike: Apply DoT with Pike, swap to Reaper for execute finishers and healing.
3. Void Reaper + Stormcaller Bow: Bow clears trash, Reaper executes survivors and heals you back up.
