Frostbite Blade Overview

The Frostbite Blade is a Tier 3 Ice sword that applies a stacking slow on hit and freezes enemies solid at 5 stacks. Frozen enemies take 200% damage from the next hit (shatter), making this the highest burst-potential melee weapon in the game — if you can land the shatter consistently.

How the Frostbite Blade Works

Each hit applies 1 stack of "Frostbite" to the target. Frostbite slows movement by 15% per stack and attack speed by 8% per stack. At 5 stacks, the target freezes for 3 seconds. The next hit on a frozen target triggers "Shatter" — dealing triple damage and consuming all stacks.

3. Permafrost: After shatter, target keeps 2 Frostbite stacks. You only need 3 more hits to re-freeze.

A-Tier

4. Cold Snap: Applying 5 stacks to a target releases a frost nova that applies 1 stack to all nearby enemies.

5. Frost Armor: While holding the Frostbite Blade, gain 10% damage reduction from all sources.
