Arms of God Dual Daggers Guide — Best Fast-Attack Build for Maximum DPS [2026]
Why Daggers?
Dual daggers have the highest base attack speed in Arms of God at 1.8 attacks per second. This makes them the best vehicle for on-hit effects: crit procs, bleed application, lifesteal triggers, and blessing activations all scale with attack speed.
Attack Speed Breakpoints
| Attacks/Second | Time Between Hits | Blessing Procs/Sec (50% chance) |
|---|---|---|
| 1.8 (base) | 0.55s | 0.9 |
| 2.2 (Blessing of Haste) | 0.45s | 1.1 |
| 2.7 (Haste + Swiftness 5) | 0.37s | 1.35 |
| 3.2 (full speed build) | 0.31s | 1.6 |
At 3.2 attacks/second with 50% crit rate, you're landing a critical hit every 0.62 seconds. That's the fastest bleed stacking, lifesteal ticking, and on-hit proccing of any build in the game.
Best Dagger Merges
S-Tier: Void Reaper + Shadow Fang → Nightbringer
Hidden recipe. +15% crit chance, purple glow effect, and Shadow Fang's bleed bonus. The mathematically optimal dagger setup — this merge alone puts Assassin at 65%+ crit rate.
A-Tier: Dual Daggers + Fire Essence
Adds 15 fire damage per hit. At 1.8 attacks/sec, that's 27 fire DPS before normal damage. Against ice-weak enemies, this outperforms Void Reaper.
A-Tier: Dual Daggers + Frostbite Blade
Slow on hit. Turns daggers from pure offense into a kiting tool — enemies can't catch you if they're permanently slowed.
Dagger Blessing Priority
1. Lethal Precision: +15% crit. With daggers' attack rate, every crit% is worth more than on any other weapon.
2. Shadow Strike: Crit applies bleed. Daggers hit so fast that bleed stacks cap (5) in under 3 seconds.
3. Vampiric Edge: 2% lifesteal on crit. At 50% crit rate and 1.8 attacks/sec, that's roughly 1.8% max HP healed per second.
4. Chain Master: On-hit effects chain. Each attack triggers chain lightning. With daggers, this procs almost continuously.
Playstyle
Daggers are high-risk, high-reward. You must be in melee range (2m) to deal damage. This means you need either:
- Perfect dodge timing (learn every enemy attack pattern)
- High lifesteal to sustain through chip damage
- Movement speed to weave in and out of attack range
The optimal pattern: dash in → 3-4 hits (about 2 seconds) → dash out. Never commit to more than 2 seconds of attacking before repositioning.
