Achievement Overview

Arms of God features 42 achievements totaling 1,000 Gamerscore on Steam. This guide covers every achievement, organized by how you'll naturally encounter them through gameplay. There are no missable achievements — everything can be earned post-game through NG+ or Challenge Runs.

Story Progression (8 Achievements — Automatic)

These unlock naturally by clearing each Act and defeating the final boss. You cannot miss them. Completing the game on any difficulty awards all 8.

1. First Steps — Complete Act 1

2. Into the Fire — Complete Act 2

3. Storm Chaser — Complete Act 3

4. Divine Intervention — Complete Act 4

5. The Engine Falls — Defeat Divine Engine Omega

6. A New Beginning — Start New Game+

7. Veteran — Complete NG+

8. Completionist — Earn all other 41 achievements

Boss Mastery (10 Achievements)

Each major boss has a mastery achievement for defeating them without taking damage from their signature attack:

• Untouchable — Defeat Act 1 boss without being hit by the charge attack

• Dodge God — Defeat Act 2 boss without taking fire breath damage

• Lightning Reflexes — Defeat Act 3 boss without being hit by chain lightning

• Grounded — Defeat Act 4 mid-boss without being knocked into the air

• Perfect Engine — Defeat Divine Engine Omega without touching any laser grid

And 5 more for the NG+ exclusive boss phases. These are the hardest achievements in the combat category. Expect 5-15 attempts each.

Class Mastery (10 Achievements)

Reach level 20 with each of the 10 characters. This is the biggest time sink — each character takes roughly 3 hours to level 20 through Act 4 clear. Some tips:

1. Equip +XP blessings (Scholar's Mind, Mentorship)

2. Max the Training Ground XP node in Cathedral first

3. Run Act 3-4 on Hard for the XP multiplier

4. Pair characters you don't enjoy with strong weapon combos to speed through

Collection Achievements (5)

• Armory Complete — Unlock all 60 weapons. This requires crafting every Tier 3 weapon and finding every hidden weapon.

• Blessed — Collect every blessing at least once. 42 blessings total, some only appear in specific Acts or on specific difficulties.

• Well-Dressed — Collect all 18 armor sets (3-piece each = 54 pieces total).

• Secret Hunter — Find all 24 secret rooms across all 4 Acts.

• Lore Master — Read every lore tablet (scattered across Acts, some hidden).

Hardest Achievements and Strategies

Deathless NG+ Clear

Complete an entire NG+ run without dying once. This is widely considered the hardest achievement. Strategy: Tank class, full defensive blessings, avoid all optional rooms, skip Challenge Runs. Expect 20+ attempts.

Speed Demon Gold

Complete Act 1-2 combined in under 15 minutes on Hard difficulty. This requires near-perfect routing and an optimized AoE build. The record as of July 2026 is 11 minutes 42 seconds.

Achievement Tips

• Farm class levels during Weekly Boss Rush for 2x XP

• Secret achievements are community puzzles — check the Arms of God Discord

• The "Completionist" achievement requires NG+ completion, so plan for at least 2 full playthroughs

• Use the Tank class for no-hit boss achievements — the damage immunity active ability helps enormously
