Achievement Overview

Arms of God has 42 achievements. Roughly 30 are earned through normal play; the remaining 12 require specific builds, challenges, or grinding.

By Difficulty

Automatic (8): Earned by completing the story. Beat each act boss, finish the game.

Easy (12): Earned through normal gameplay variety. Kill X enemies, collect X gold, use each weapon type once.

Medium (10): Require specific actions. Kill 3 bosses without damage, beat an act in under 5 minutes, etc.

Hard (8): Require dedicated grinding or skill. Complete Hard Mode, beat True Divine Engine, etc.

Very Hard (4): The 0.1% club. See below.

The Hardest 4 Achievements

1. Untouchable (0.8% of players)

Beat any boss without taking damage. Recommended: Fire Elemental (Act 1) on Normal with Sniper. Stay at max range, use headshots, dodge the 3 highly-telegraphed attacks. Takes 5-10 attempts.

2. Speed Demon (0.5%)

Complete Act 1 in under 5 minutes. Requires skipping all optional rooms, ignoring gold/chests, and having a highly-upgraded Cathedral for damage. Devastator recommended for room clear speed.

3. Pacifist (0.3%)

Beat Act 1 without killing any non-essential enemies. Only boss kills count as "essential." You must run past every Husk — use movement speed blessings and dodge timing. Takes 10+ attempts to learn the evasion patterns.

4. True Legend (0.1%)

Beat True Divine Engine (NG+ final boss) on Hard Mode. The hardest achievement in the game. Requires: max Cathedral, optimized build, perfect execution for 10+ minutes. Only ~300 players have this achievement.

Missable Achievements

Secret Seeker: Break all 5 hidden seals in one run. Must be done in one continuous run — quitting resets seal progress.

Merchant's Best Friend: Buy the Act 3 secret merchant's Divine weapon. Only appears once per run, costs 5,000 gold.

No Upgrade Run: Beat Normal without spending any Cathedral points. Do this on a fresh save file (Cathedral is shared across characters).

Optimal Achievement Route

1. Playthrough 1 (Normal): Beat game, unlock characters, earn automatic + easy achievements (~20 total)

2. Hard Mode run: Earn Hard Mode achievements + work on medium ones (~10 more)

3. NG+ run: Beat True Divine Engine, finish medium achievements (~8 more)

4. Cleanup: Targeted runs for Untouchable, Speed Demon, Pacifist, True Legend
