Respec Guide — How to Reset Your Build

Respec Overview

Arms of God offers limited respec options. Unlike some ARPGs where you can freely refund points, Arms of God requires specific items called "Memory Shards" to respec.

What You Can Respec

Memory Shard Locations

• Act 1: Secret Shrine (guaranteed 1)

• Act 2: Dungeon hidden cache (guaranteed 1)

• Act 3: Library, drop from Lore Guardians (20%)

• Act 3: Thunder Plateau, reward from lightning rod puzzle (guaranteed 1)

• Act 4: Archive Keys cache (guaranteed 2)

• Act 4: Garden of Echoes, reward (guaranteed 1)

Per run: 5-8 Memory Shards available

Best Respec Strategy

1. Use your first playthrough to experiment. Don't worry about optimization.

2. On NG+, commit to a build. Save Memory Shards for boss-specific adjustments.

3. Before Divine Engine Omega, consider respeccing to a boss-killing build if your current build is farming-oriented.

How to Respec

1. Find or purchase Memory Shards

2. Visit the Cathedral (any act)

3. Select "Respec" from the Cathedral menu

4. Choose which resource to refund

5. Confirm (shards are consumed on confirmation)

Tips for Trying New Builds

• The best way to try a new build is to start a new run with a different class

• Memory Shards are best used for minor adjustments, not complete overhauls

• Save before respeccing so you can reload if you don't like the new setup
